Vic: Woman dies in three car crash
MELBOURNE, Aug 16 AAP - One woman is dead and another three people injured after athree-car collision in Melbourne's east this evening.
The 39-year-old woman - from Wantirna South - died after a 4WD she was driving collidedwith a car at the intersection of High Street Road and Burwood Highway at Wantirna Southat 6pm (AEST).
Her car then collided with a utility waiting to turn at the intersection.
Two people from the car and one person from the utility were taken to hospital fortreatment, police said.
Victoria's road toll now stands at 220, compared with 255 for the same period last year.
